For some reason, I get almost "giddy" when I find book covers for different books that are exactly alike. It's almost like playing a game...."I Spy With My Little Eye....a BOOK COVER!"
The Boys Of My Youth by Joanne Beard (which I own but have not read yet) and A Slight Misunderstanding by Prosper Merimee.

That's really interesting! Now I'm going to be watching for those!
Oh, I agree! Finding these is a lot of fun. Obviously, there's a shortage of book-cover-worthy photos available. (LOL)
Wow, I never knew that 2 books could use the same cover picture! Thanks for pointing that out. Now I'll have to be on the look out. Have a great day!
Ha! That's funny 'cause I posted about look alike covers too!!!!
My publishers told me about this! How they'll see "their covers" on someone else's book - that's those sites where you can get images on the cheap :)
I always *thought* I was having deja vu moments with certain covers, but told myself that it couldn't possibly be. Thanks for confirming I'm not crazy! ;^)
I adree also. Why do they do that? The pictures must have high sales figures or something.
Wow, I have never seen that. Wouldn't that just make you madder than hell if you were the author? Are these self-published books as I know places like Lulu offer ready, set, go covers.
