Mailbox Monday

I received quite a few books last week in the mail:

From Paperbackswap:

The Widow's Season by Laura Brodie
Bone Black by Bell Hook
The Burn Journals by Brett Runyon
Songs of Life and Grace
by Linda Scott Derosier

From Amazon.com:

Mean Mothers by Peg Streep
The Blue Hole Back Home
by Joy Jordan Lake

Received from a friend:

The Mailman
and His Father's Son by Bentley Little

What was in YOUR mailbox?

Looks like some nice books. Thanks also for reminding me about the Widow's Season. I've read a few reviews of it and it sounds like a book I would enjoy. I will look forward to your review.

Wow, that's a lot of books! They all look good to me except for Mean Mothers. I don't think I could read that one.

I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of Mean Mothers! Unfortunately, my local library doesn't have it. Enjoy all your books!

I can't wait to see what you think of The Widow's Season. I was pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed it. I did a review for Laura Brodie and I feel so bad that it may have disappointed her and didn't do the book justice.

Bentley Little . . . love him. I look forward to what you think of The Mailman since it's one of the few I haven't been able to get my hands on yet.
