~Book Review~ Circle Of Friends Book III - James

By L. Diane Wolfe

This book was sent to me by the author for review - Thank you so much Diane! Visit her blog at Spunk On A Stick's Tips!

James is a bright young man with a good future. In college, working a part-time job, James is self-sufficient, well on his way to being independent. The only thing missing from his life is love. He has yet to find a special girl to care about. He has had girlfriends in the past, but no one special. He has feelings for a friend of his, but she is married. Then, that very friend introduces James to a friend of hers....Maria. James and Maria hit it off instantly. They both go to different colleges a few hours away from each other, but get to see each other on weekends. They go to parties, hang out with friends....all of the things that college kids do. They are still at a fun, carefree age where seriousness has no place in their lives....yet. Then the unthinkable happens. James and Maria find that they must grow up fast and change their priorities.

I enjoyed this story. The characters were likable and I felt connected to them throughout the story. James and Maria take a serious situation and make things work for themselves, despite Maria's parents ill-will towards James and their relationship together. They prove their strength and their love for each other is stronger than any tough situation that comes their way.

Full of friendship, love and true life situations, Circle Of Friends Book III is a recommended read for YA of all ages.
