Quick Note
My mom fell yesterday in the nursing home and broke her hip. She is having hip replacement surgery today. I just wanted to let everybody know, so you wouldn't think I was ignoring your comments. I noticed that I got quite a few yesterday, and quickly posted them without being able to read through them carefully. My mom will probably be in the hospital for 5-7 days, then will have to go to rehab somewhere, probably another skilled nursing facility. Thank goodness my brother is here from TN for a couple of days.

So sorry to hear about your mom. My father-in-law broke his hip last year - at age 90 - and he's doing great now. Hope everything turns out okay. And don't worry about us Followers...we understand!
Oh, I am sorry to hear that. Don't worry about us, you do what you have to and look after your mum. She's going to need you! Poor woman, I hope she recovers very quickly -- it doesn't sound fun at all. Glad you have your brother there to help you get through this.

We JUST got back from Oregon and the first day there, we had to spend most of the afternoon at the emergency room with my mother. FUN!
