Today's Musing Mondays post from Just One More Page is:
Do you listen to music while reading? Does this change if you’re reading in or out of your house? Do you have a preference of music for such occasions?
I have just recently started listening to my iPod while reading. I mean recently as of last night, so how weird is it that this question came up today? :) I love listening to music...anytime, anywhere. While I am cleaning, fixing dinner, driving and while I am on the computer. While I have found that TV noise distracts me while I am reading, music does not. I am finding it to be relaxing.
What about you? Do you listen to music while reading?

I do not listen to music when reading but I do read while watching TV, ha ha ha just opposite of you!
I listen to music while reading. I also like listening to music while I am writing, as it inspires the mood of a scene. (Thus all of my characters have their own 'them' song.)
TV is just too distracting either way.
Its weird if I am reading a novel I don't do music. It kinda takes the mood of the novel away. But if I am writing I listen to music no problem. I must admit I don't listen to music as much as I used to. I never thought that would be possible. Cleaning up and listen to music is still a favorite.
I like a background of music, but I have to choose carefully so as not to be distracted. I think I have found my perfect answer
Missy, how weird is that musing q for the day. I mean, you just started listening to your iPod & it is a question. Freaky!

Your blog is really cute!
You should have won for something.
I listen to music when I write, not so much when I read. Right now, I'm listening to the Great American Country station on TV.
Most of the songs are kind of quiet and a great background.
