I Am Queen Crab Today

Do you ever have one of those days where it seems that everything goes wrong?

Today is one of those days for me, and the day is only half over. I feel so beaten down, that I couldn't even leave my office for lunch. I am sitting here eating a yogurt and a bag of salt & pepper potato chips. Prior to eating, I swallowed some Midol. You get the picture.

One thing that was a problem this morning became two things. Then three. Then four. I hope that it does not go beyond four...I don't think I can handle one more problem today.

On somewhat of a brighter note, I started reading a book last night that is quite good. It is called Secondhand Smoke by Patty Friedmann. It is pretty damn entertaining. I haven't read anything by Patty Friedmann before, and I am happy to say that I have found another great author! I love the style and fl
ow of her writing...and her wit. Has anyone else read anything by her? Her other novels include: Eleanor Rushing, A Little Bit Ruined, and Side Effects. I will definitely be checking these other books out.

Well, time to indulge in my sweet and salty lunch. Have a great Thursday every
one!

I hope your day gets better! The salty chips may not make things better but satisfying those cravings feels good (I go for dill pickle flavored chips).

Those salty chips were SO good...I wanted to lick the inside of the bag when I was finished. :) Oh, and to top off my fairly nutritious lunch, I had a Rice Krispie treat (out of our vending machine).

I have only one question: WHERE'S THE CHOCOLATE????? In our house we call a day like you had a Murphy's Law Day...if anything can go wrong, it will. Hope tomorrow is better for you!

My one of those days was yesterday when I lost a family member. I am fine but it's still an emotional challenge.
Fortunately today was a little better...

Oh my gosh!!! I love rice crispie treats! My only problem is that if I make them I can eat the whole pan, they are only cereal, right?
