Booking Through Thursday - Would You Lie?

Today's Booking Through Thursday question is:

***This was last week's question which I missed....better late than never!

Suggested by Monibo:

Saw this article (from March) and thought it would make a good BTT confessional question:

Two-thirds of Brits have lied about reading books they haven’t. Have you? Why? What book?

I can't lie about ANYTHING...I am probably the world's worst liar....so I just don't do it. :)

Instead of lying, I give people TMI....Too Much Information. My mom once told me to "not to be so honest"...and to me that is just wrong.

What about you?

Also, I am a terrible liar too... Why lie about reading a book you never read, that is just stupid!I mean really.. Come'on!!
Happy Halloweenie!!! LOL!!
Hope you are having a great day!

I can't figure out why one would lie about having read a book if you haven't actually read the book. I'd be far more interested in getting people's impressions so I can decide whether the book's worthwhile!

I'm a great liar, not something I am proud of! I don't do it anymore. But when I was a teen I lied all the time. It was like I made a game out of it. I would see what wild stories I could make up and who I could get to believe me, I was so good everyone usually believed me.

I don't think I have ever lied about reading a book though.

I love the new look too! Very pretty.

Lol! You're too funny, going from not lying to TMI. But I think I know what you mean, I am sometimes like that too and I frequently have to check myself and make sure I don't spill too much.
