Teaser Tuesday
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read*
* Open to a random page*
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page *
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! ;)
My teaser today comes once again from The Help by Kathryn Stockett:
~I saw that dress four days ago and I knew it looked hussified - of course she had to pick the one with the low neckline - but I had no idea what would happen when she stuffed herself inside it. She's popping out like a corn cob in Crisco."~ pg. 318
I am LOVING this book!!!
What's YOUR teaser today??

I'm on the waiting list at the library for this one. It sounds great!
I read "The Help" last a while back and I too LOVED it!
I loved that book, too! And that teaser is a perfect example of the way the story is told...

Who could resist "She's popping out like a corn cob in Crisco"???
OMG that's the funniest teaser ever. THanks for sharing :)
You can find my teaser here
Haha I love it! Nice teaser. Mine is at The Crowded Leaf.
Here is my teaser from The Trophy Bride’s Tale by Cyrilla Barr (page 1):
I have never seen an execution! I am terrified & tremble uncontrollably now as I stand on the fringes of restless crowd desperately hoping that no one will notice me in my shabby pilgrim’s weeds. At that I saw his face break into a warm smile and I knew I had at last reached safer ground.
OMG
Love it!
Great teaser! LOL
Love that teaser, maybe I will enjoy this book. And the word hussified, love that, lol
