Daisy & I curl up together every evening to read. Well, I read while she snores beside of me. Sometimes when I find a particularly funny or interesting passage, I will read it out loud to her (I used to call my husband in to the room to read it to him but it seems that she shows more interest than he does). :)
Regretfully I have found out this week that Daisy seems to have developed a disliking for Stephen King.....Stephen King's novels, that is.
On three separate days this week she has chewed three different novels.....Hearts In Atlantis, Night Shift and Rose Madder. Now mind you, these books were not on the floor, they were in my bookcase on the second-to-lowest shelf. My shelves are also not in any kind of order, so these three books were not right next to each other. Strange, isn't it?
Thank goodness she didn't get a hold of Duma Key...that one might have been too heavy for her!
My husband has suggested moving some of my Dean Koontz novels down a few shelves, just to see what she thinks of those! LOL
