I do close them!<br />I'm no authority on writing but having spent thousands of hours and dollars on books over a lot of years, I'm a pretty good chooser of a great read! I am lucky in that I read every genre except horror and vampires! I love ghost and witches but vampires are too far out for me. I did read a few of Anne Rice's vampire series years ago but I was young enough to "buy" anything written back then, now I like fact based fiction the best!<br />"The Help" IS by far the BEST book I've read in years and I look forward to Kathryn Stockett's future works! "Days Betweeen The Years" by Sherry Austin and "Tender Graces" by Kathryn Magendie are also two great reads and "In The Land of Cotton" by Martha Taylor should be added also. So that's my opinion and I'll keep the bad books and there are quite a few, to myself! :) xoxoCarol Murdockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16749285023748227382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6881592673750097460.post-41415772364094987662009-08-13T13:43:09.106-04:002009-08-13T13:43:09.106-04:00I'm the same as you. With this one, I couldn't wait for the ending. It was the best part about the exercise.
