    Ordinary People remains one of my favorite films. I would have never cast Mary Tyler Moore in that role but I guess that why I'm not a director. Robert Redford made a beautiful film with a great cast.

    I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't seen Raging Bull, but Sissy Spacek and Tommy Lee Jones in Coal Miner's Daughter were amazing!

    I remember where I was when Lennon was murdered. So sad that a man who actively promoted peace was killed so violently.

  2. I remember Mt. St. Helens - we got ashed twice in Oregon. And when it erupted in July of that year, I was at the dog races in Portland and we watched the entire thing from the stands. Pretty incredible!
